And so it begins as I romp with summer Its fragrant tints, grasses tickle my ankles Enhancing the air through warm soak of dusk, To charm pond’s view where leaves in heat parade : Gently breaks the moon, vibrantly aflame Trees drifting on songs , an hour just for me, When heated eve and stars lucid explode That along the ridge I gyre on a balmy coastline, Caring not if it will ever end, ever end! Can't wait for what you've described to begin...But I'll have to. Chicago's cold, colder, and colder these days...Congrats on your placement in the contest, nette! :) gw

As usual your imagination is so rife as you enjoy and play in natures charms, and with frivolous abandon share in the ambiance of it all! Well penned Nette, Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Elegant whirl of summer's mood through your dancing phrases. I noticed how the first line used ' begin' and the last line closed with ' ending.' Perfect portrait!
