And He Came Into Me
In the twilight of the evening in my virgin life
as I lay within the slumber of my trust
hearing opening doors that should be tightly locked
with footsteps moved along by sordid lust
and he came into me
Touching places sacred in the sight of God
coded in the hollow of my thighs
parting columns with his hands so vile and hot
teaching me to tell my mom sweet lies
as he came into me
I thought he was my mother’s lover till that night
but disbelief is painful in its truth
so much so dear to me was loss right there and then
Does she know she loves a man that stole my youth?
cause he came into me
Angel of the day, seductress of the night,
Mama never saw his colors true,
Would she have believed me if I told her so?
But shame inside is all I ever knew,
when he came into me
But you have loved me my dear one
my sweetheart of the heaven's gaze
Gone is the stain of a wounded soul
and the spiritual is raised
since you've come on to me
