All vegetation is important, but trees are very important. They provide us with all sorts of things, besides fruit, Excellent poem.

Hi Sara, Reminds me of a poem I wrote several years ago, “A Gathering of Old Trees.” Similar sentiments as your thought-provoking “Ancestral Wisdom.” Trees have been a major inspiration for my poetry over the years. I’ll have to “branch out” to some new sources of inspiration. Take care. Don PS: Read your bio. You have an interesting background. Have you published those books mentioned in your bio?

Not yet published those books....working on the editing process...was stopped about a year ago with rotator cuff surgery and the 6-7 months of physical therapy and rehab. Have a pleasant day, Sara
