An Imaginary Dream

Will making wishes ever work for me,
is there gold at the end of each rainbow?
And If I have faith in God, will I see
my spirit's aura actually glow?
What does happiness strive to look like,
living in an imaginary dream?
And if disaster should suddenly strike,
can fantasy dreams hush a silent scream?
Yesterday's shadows aren't reality,
stars keep shining; for that is what stars do.
But it's also an actuality,
that the future's fluid and flows through you.
When logic holds hopes hostage; set them free,
believe in miracles, like you and me.
