An Angel's Dove
oh, there's something about an angel's dove,
that fills my essence with hope and love-
when the darkened skies hover above,
I feel the presence of the Lord who relieves.
there's something about the one who believes,
the whispering of magic through the maple leaves-
for the angel saves when a poor heart grieves,
she protects and nurtures he who preserves.
there's something about an ivory wing that reserves,
all things of kindness and faith to he that serves-
but there is one thing that an angel deserves,
is to shine in front of the light of kaleidoscope.
there's something about an angel's hope,
that gives compassion when one must cope-
when you're falling down that slippery slope,
she carries her white dove in her hands so strong.
there's something about singing a choir song,
you know, the kind that makes you want to belong-
for an angel feels right when I am wrong,
oh, there's something about an angel's dove.
