Amnesia
Amnesia takes life and turns it into something else
Bad memories folded away, in distant places, unreachable
Everything is good, as though it would seem
Only it is fake, caught in an uncontrolled performance
Until, it all unfolds to find one’s true self again
Walking on sharp cutting memories, bearing the truth
A journey back in time, to start over again
A journey revealing scenes of all that was lost
Trying to replace the emptiness with something new
- Screaming, this is me! This is me! -
I was gone, hidden by things unbearable to the mind
- Now I have returned -
