the rain to keep me company
I reap the silence of the night
the mystery of its realm
the idleness of walking
and meandering
to walk the streets alone
haunted by your memory
and that somehow keeps me sane
when morning comes
and still you're gone
i somehow make it through the day
and only long for sunset
to start again my quest
for the fading memory of you
