Alone
Alone
In a valley
Walls too tall to climb
So far the eye
Cannot see
Long as an
Endless river
Carved out over
A millennia
An unavoidable obstacle,
An impossible climb,
A challenge so difficult,
It can’t be done alone
But together it can
Be managed
With help of others,
You can come
From out of the depths
A ladder can be
Brought down, long
Enough to scale
The imposing walls
Brought up from
The suffocating darkness,
You are free
Because you aren’t
Alone
