Almost Deadly Dream
My eyes get heavy,
I fall asleep,
And when they open,
I hear not one peep.
I look around,
I'm not at home,
I see hundreds of fairies,
And one little gnome.
I realize,
That I am in,
A dream world galore,
Or maybe heaven?
A little fairy,
Takes my hand,
To a place unknown,
To a different land.
I try to escape,
And run away,
My mind keeps wandering,
But I want to stay.
They are like a drug,
In this crazy dream,
These cute little fairies,
Are not what they seem?
They won't capture you,
That is not their plan,
They want your soul,
The soul of a man.
I will not let them take it,
Although it’s so hard to refuse,
I'll kill to survive,
And that's just what I do.
The fairies are demons,
They summon their Lord,
I freeze as I see him,
Stiff as a board.
But then I wake up,
Scared as can be,
And I know I am fighting,
Just for another day to see.
