Alligator Or Crocodile
“Would you like an alligator in your soup or a crocodile?”
The waitress asked me.
I was already irritated that she was sitting in the booth with me.
She said “Scoot over,” and I should have held my ground.
But I didn’t.
“I do not want either one,” I said in a haughty mean way.
Then to show her I am not in a joking mood today,
I pushed the bus boy a little with my hip and they
Both landed on the floor, with a plop. Neither laughing.
I imagine I got worse than an alligator in that soup.
