All That Melts In Your Mouth Being Outsmarted By a Five Year Old
She walked into the Ice cream Parlor
with her mom, all three feet of her.
Five years old, excited and happy
with a gleam in her eyes, looking at
all the ice cream choices, she was
mesmerized.
Her mother told her," Honey you
pick your favorite one."
She said, "Mommy I want that one,
and that one, and that one!" Mommy,
softly replied, "Honey you can only
have one."
"But I want that one, and that one,
and that one!" Her mom said again,
"Darling you can only have one."
She replied again holding up her
one little finger to make a point,
she then pointed at the different
flavors individually. Mommy you
said I could only have one. So I
want one of vanilla, one of
strawberry, and one of chocolate.
Her mother realizing the confusion
in her five year old, gave in and
wondered if she was outsmarted by
her five year old.
