I have borrowed soup Faced to I fell upon my pride I have been devoid of earthly worth So bottom The roof under which I lay my head Electricity and water was cut off I have been the but Of people's pity Wearing dirty underwear Day's on end Knowing the nightmare and darkness descend And there is no light at the end of tunnel And there is yet further hardships to face But I shall awake to dawn And I shall be reborn 1 Day Maybe not in this life But in yours
