After We Separated....
A moment of silence
breaks
conversation unannounced...
Gently, your fingers intervene...
toward me,
tossing an out place hair
aside...
I thought the gesture
silly,
minute,
seemingly meaningless...
An attempt
to perfect our moment
even though time already passed...
Now alone,
conversation abandoned...
Every breeze
is the shadow
of your hand,
Stretching
the chasm
of silence...
