After Reading Whitman, Gathering Airs and Tasting the Garnishes

I am the wind the textured curl of clouds those specks of glitter silver and gold are my illustrative gleams the foiling wings that flutter and flap feathers ripe with color complementing all rosy hills a rolling kiss a splash of blush a dash of spicy dish the pepper and the salt of a morning's stirring serving see me in the meadows there where wildflowers overflowing bees and butterflies how they gaily bob take lick like little children at the serving tops of apples candied making funny faces where those more tart chasing rainbow tails the fond remnants of showers I made this day for you now do me honor save some acres from your cities and roads one or two at the least as I keep sacred your plot through the heavens

Yes, Joe: We can always dream. I hope there is a safe place for you to ride if you do give in to temptation. Best, SuZ

Thank you, SuZ.. At 75, still having my motorcycle license, though I sold my motorcycle awhile back. laughing like heck over your Kangaroo poem, missing the deserts, mountain curves and insect splattered windshield...I am tempted to buy another. Blessings my friend.

Nature has blessed us with sights and scenes so delightful ! Instead of using up every inch of space, leave some for nature to make her own designs and plans ! Lovely penning Joe. Some images used here are so captivating !

What a wonderful request dear Joe, if only they would listen, and not sell out our precious soil for the sake of business and glamor, we need soil to plant seeds and grow things, a place where we can lay beneath a tree and sigh, nicely penned, thank you for sharing,
