Afraid and Apprehended
Freedom for me,
Captivity for your emphatic agreement.
Slithering through the forest,
As I laid beneath the constellation,
I was reminded of all the crowds,
And the tally of the score on the sidelines.
Madness and instability,
Conditional and cumbersome,
Awkward rumors of apologies,
And figures of shawdows dancing,
While running through the densely populated area,
And again, you wore that concealing disguise.
And oh how you frightened me,
You carried me with your wasted scraps,
You lost me in your cognitive process,
And released me towards the reflected light of Saturn,
So that I may try to conceal my ungrateful gratitude.
You treat me like a receptacle shredded in your trash.
I came in last place in your competition,
As you waited for me at the red ribbon of the finishing line.
Afraid and insecure,
Having feelings of aversion.
You gave me unwillingness,
And I accepted it once again.
