Dearest Jan, I awoke at 4 am this morn and I am so saddened to see your are leaving PS. You were the first person to comment on my very first poem that I posted last year and you have been a constant support ever since with your lovely comments; I feel I am losing a dear sweet friend Jan. I pray you reconsider ... yes, I am speaking selfishly, because you are the sunshine here at the Soup, and I will miss you, your work, and your bright light and positive aura. We must stand together when things come at us - that's what friendship is about, and knowing how many people love and admire you, well, that's a pretty big wall we make. Poetry Soup is US, and we do NOT take the side of deception - we're better than that on the whole.

I totally understand where you're coming from, Jan, (especially after learning all I have in the last few weeks, and seeing and being duped by more of it), and I too applaud your stance. That said, if you LEAVE, the devil wins, and we who love you suffer as well from your absence. I am a relative "newbie", and I wasn't here for much of the previous garbage, but I have seen a trend and a common dark thread that keeps returning, and it hurts my heart to think it has sent another good poet packing.

Tania you are one of the few who understands, a moron who faked his cancer and then his death on soup in 2014 is continuing to pull the wool over admin's eyes - they have removed account after account in the past so why they now won't take action now when they know he can hide his ISP is beyond a joke. I feel for the people who do like my poems and whose day I brighten with my silly thoughts but after today I have just had enough and am calling it a day for the foreseeable future. :-) rest assured like Arnie i will be back!:-) hugs jan xx

I won't be leaving for good Lin, just taking an extended break. after events today after your potd and the snide comments and nasty poems being written aimed at the both of us and the problems with blogs and fake accounts then its time to hang up my pen for a time. I have a project to work on - getting my silly poems into a book, its been on the back burner now its time to do it:-) hugs jan xx
