Acceptance is electric Synaptic flicking of switches Enlightening shaded corners Part of me says I should remind myself Of the fleeting nature of joy But it's a good day Why tell myself good days end There's a chance some switches stay on And over time there's more light and less dark I can't know if there's a bill stacking up But sitting in the dark is costly too So I'll bathe in the loveliness Of genuine like/light It's today's gift
