The accent grave (`) is a diacritical mark that appears above a vowel to indicate how it should be pronounced. Typically to avoid confusion in homophones or slow down a sound or indicate a falling tone. And a painting by Franz Kline

can you rework an intention place indicators around it mark it out, say it's different can you do whatever you want somehow, within designated lines become unconstricted all this I ask of a blank page ~ that being where answers lie for the questions of self if already known, would condemn let's not do that those that speak over cradles pre-ordain paths as if set they don't mean it for nobody 'means' it not in the grand scheme of things see how everyone lines up to let any reality play out that you care to step into incomprehensibly a rash display of choice and none whatsoever here I am unaware of inflection terrorised by ripples of consequence descent more likely from inaction than if I daub everything in sight black I overstate the rules I should live by cast shadow on the moments I'm free the truth here is minds race with awareness become overwhelmed by black and white and rules and order and time... forgetting that we could relax into chaos mispronounced blessings exist why fear to mark any page sometimes indelible is better we don't stress about changing it just accept it's there and move on I'll take a moment shriek and wail into the void then voilà - it's over and done with one way or another

Outstanding poetry explores order and chaos, self-discovery, and accepting flaws. You struggle with social norms and seek freedom within them. It explores identity, choice pressure, and the liberation of accepting life's complexity. Your diction is vivid and introspective, using abstract and tangible metaphors. The words "unconstricted," "terrorized by ripples of consequence," and "mispronounced blessings" express difficulty and intricacy. Informal language like "here I am" and "voilà," gives the speaker's voice warmth and urgency.

Thank you for such a detailed and insightful response to my poem. I appreciate how you’ve highlighted themes like order, chaos, and self-discovery, as well as the interplay between identity and choice as well commenting on the personality I brought to the poem. The voilà was an example of accent grave. Your analysis of the diction, especially phrases like 'mispronounced blessings,' is really thought-provoking—you’ve drawn connections with such clarity and depth demonstrating you've spent a great deal of time with the poem. Thank you.

Dear dd, what a thought provoking and meaningful poem this is, that would encourage your readers to embrace individual differences and to be comfortable with the little imperfections that makes them stand out from the rest, this applies to so many aspects of life and experiences of individuals, and i really love the ending and also how youv written " for the questions of self if already known, would condemn let's not do that" thats so powerful and beyond impeccable! One of those lines that would convey so much, just written alone too! This poem is so profound and and has so much that can be taken to comprehend and digest slowly! I truly enjoyed reading this. And its amazing how an artwork as such can inspire you to write this. I wouldnt even know where to begin when interpreting that artwork! You see so much in art, beyond a normal one can see, or interpret, depict! Pleasure reading this; sending you light always

Thank you Ink, it's a bit of a tough trek this one, so I appreciate you wading through. I read up a bit of accent graves as well as viewing the painting. This artist is fascinating because the art is very intentional but looks haphazard. Paintings that look like anyone could do them but that not being the case intrigue me. It's kind of indiscernible why it's special and why it evokes a response - love it! Thanks for diving in :)
