My heart... beats too fast.
I bow my head, at last.
Then,
a moment of peace.
You give to me,
like no other.
Father,
I call to you,
in the darkness of the moment,
and forget in the light of plain day.
Forgive me.
I work hard at repentance,
and fall short of my goal,
perfection not attainable...
on my own.
Your Son to me,
is the Light of the World,
seen in every day that starts, or ends.
He is the King from the beginning,
he is the King unto the end.
Forever and eternity,
a twist of stars in the sky.
The Spirit that surrounds me,
feeds me hope for my soul.
That I may yet be,
more than trash.
That I may yet dare to consider,
your wrath has passed me by.
I did not deserve it,
I did not ask... as I am foolish,
and human.
Prayers Father,
I lift to thee.
Prayers for things,
only you can see.
A. Foster, Ann Foster God bless your day!
