Abandoned

The distance becomes greater, the worthiness is small as the light fades gentle, where tears course down a wall. The past does not have meaning; the future is not here, the heart that’s beating colder has chose to disappear. Nobody hears the pleading … nobody shares the pain. No one wants to reconnect this one link in the chain. Abandoned and forsaken, by not a single word, abandoned and forsaken … a voice no longer heard.

It seems with this virus we all are feeling a bit lonely and only glad we are starting to open up again. Hopefully with no virus at the moment we can keep this up. Missing coffee time with the friends. love phyl

Yes Phyllis, this has been something that we have never experienced before and we all feel abandoned without being able to come face to face with our friends. I wonder how long it will be before our trust returns - thank you Phyllis - Lindsay

So many emotions created by the virus, Lindsay, some too hard for those, that seek a terminal way out. Brilliant poetry, as usual from your wondrous pen and heart...

A very emotional write - people are so busy going about doing their thing in this rat race life, that sadly few have time to stop and listen - but there are still some thank God. Excellent but sad poem - hope you are well and safe Lindsay. Blessings, Jennifer.

Is there a specific love that has been lost? A loss of innocence perhaps. This one is a real onion. Stay well my friend.
