Abandon
I lay down my aching head to see the stars above,
I close my eyes and open my heart to this starry love,
Subdued by the enormity of this serene wonderment
i search my mind for a thousand volumous moments,
Entranced and secluded i feel free and wanton,
Etched deep in my soul i recall my recent abandon,
Fighting this inner battle of hope and depravity,
I seek to find a notion of less gravity,
Alas my mind draws hazy to every derived conclusion,
i retire soundlessly to the earth clenched in fusion,
Troubled and plagued by my disastrous plight,
I scorch my mind with an internal fight,
Believing tomorrow will answer my worry so apparent,
I retire for the night somewhat breathless with anticipation
