A Wondrous Place
A Wondrous Place
Started the day like any other,
Without a single care in the world
Went from one place to another
And my sight of the world swirled
‘Til no more, I could only see stars
That twinkled and shined wondrously
And then I heard angels singing bars
That went through me and had me joyously
This is paradise, with fun under the sun
People together, talking with each other
‘Til the sun got low and the day done
Heard was a beeping, faint and small, smothere’
Then was a long, shrill sound that did not bend
That was finished and now light filled every end
