A Winter Nights Dream

A Winter Night’s Dream ? Come on, grab your coat and ice skates! The moon is out and our friends are at the lake. The trees icy sparkle from the moonlight above. A winter night brimming with the warmth of God’s love. These are words my late cousin Madelyn would say. But she’s gone to be with God and lives in a house now, on Angel Way. I just miss her kind ways and the gift she was to my life. She brought sunshine and love to a world filled with endless strife. Dedication: to Cousin Maggie From: Cousin Panagiota

Cousins are very special people. They are paired with us for the very inspiration you describe. Best - Ken

Of course you know her, both of you....great women who loved the stars and the sea! Plus you have her words on your comments. An eternal gift from her,. Thats the kind of person she was....a giver, not a taker.. Now,,,let’s skate! Love you, Panagiota 3am PST

I thank you, first of all for reading-my poems, P.S. you honestly read them. You come from love, not in a race to be at the top of the Community Board. I get Very sad when used like this... It cheapens the commenter and the poet. Yikes.especially cookie cutter commentsm which is not you! I say this is one of best poems, it touches the soul of those who catch its depth. Losing one you love before Christmas and me having major surgery is a challenge, PS.doing my best. Panagiota xx

VC~ I do think Maggie is! She loved science, and our universe! The soul never dies, yes her body did.... But you are super! Madelyn would have read your poetry. Hers is still here. She was in chemotherapy and ill. But she left her poet prints here! Maggie reads you too through me. I know very well she cheers you on as I do. Pangit Xoxo

The warmth you bring in pen and keyboard remains long after the paper is burnt and the power is gone. What you write lives for eternity.

Hey Doc, Glad to see you. I hope whatI write survives me. I know it will. I am far from namby- pamby nor am I neutral, mainstream and heaven forbid! A crowd follower. Thats for others.and OK by me. But being an ouright individual is costly here. Doc, i have been a free spirit for years. People here should read The Lonely Crowd. An okd book with a message. Pangie xoxo

Panagiota, Such a nice dream. 'Come on, grab your coat and ice skates! ~~ The moon is out and our friends are ~~ at the lake. The trees icy sparkle from the moonlight above. ~~ A winter night brimming with the warmth of God’s love. ~~ ~~ These are words my late cousin Madelyn would say.' Well, yes, lucky you have these cherished memories. Though depends really, what you believe in. Forever should be used sparingly in the stormy chaos of our short lives. Save forever only for love. -Richard
