A Windsong Tune
The graceful breeze imparts a wind song tune
It glides on air to gently fill my heart
It knows how I have missed your silvered voice
It sends your love to me while we’re apart
The sweet caress of nature’s gentle breath
Has held me close awaiting your return
And though my candle flickers in the night
I know it waits a slow and steady burn
The graceful breeze imparts a wind song tune
I somehow feel the warmth despite the chill
The song I hear is one I’ll always hold
That you love me and that you always will
