It's hard to lose someone who was never really yours to love.
~ by poet
Flowing through channels in my mind,
race reveries of my cherished thoughts.
Memories of us that crossed the bridge
over a river's current of forlorn hearts.
Illumined by the glow of a silvery moon
or morning's kindled by an amber sun,
we often met in a private rendezvous
where we embraced in a web, love spun.
It served us as a gateway to happiness.
Each time you walked through the mist
I welcomed you with impatient arms,
always longing to be passionately kissed.
Bridge crumbled and you are sorely missed.
