A Walk On The Beach

The most peaceful time of day is just before sunrise when you are alone and have the whole world to yourself. 
Quote by poet. 



At dawn I went for a stroll along the lonely beach, 
waves were lapping gently on the pebbly shoreline. 
Then there it was before me a golden orb; sunrise.

I read my paper, never my phone, a coffee beside me and warm sand to sit on, what a lovely way to start the day,peace, beauty and tranquility. Your poem brought back nice memories. for me. First one, and then the whole tree full breaks into excited cheerful greetings to the new day! I used to live near the San Francisco Bay as a child, it was beautiful and peaceful as well as safe way back then in the early to mid-sixties. I witnessed sunsets over the Pacific Ocean, but never once had I seen the sunrise. Still, I love to see that golden orb rise over the mountains here in the SW desert, it is beautiful.
