A Treasured Friend of Mine

    A treasured friend of mine
        faced down pain with sunshine

Feared no man, spoke her mind
        underneath, incredibly kind

Her family a source of unequalled pride
        daughter and grandson she deified

     Romantic at heart
        passionate, compassionate sweetheart …

     R.I.P, Panagiota Romios
        treasured friend of mine

    ______________________________________________
It is with deep sorrow that I inform every-
one that Panagiota Romios left this world
for a better place on Tuesday, Oct. 08, 2025.

Thank you so much for this wonderful poem. It means the world to me. This has been an extremely challenging time with my world being turned upside down. She loved creating poetry. Her creativity was boundless. I could never match it. A void in my heart forever.

Elena, I mean every word I wrote, and I really miss Pangie more and more every day. My world is definitely diminished without her lively repartee. Take care. Faith and Strength, Gershon

This is so sweet and it says so much in few words. I don't know why I could not find it scrolling down your page. I had to see your poems by title in alphabetical order! When I made my blog for Pangie, I was unaware that you were probably the first to announce this , sorry I did not know. Did you have contact with a relative of hers to keep you in the know? It's wonderful that you must have been there for her right up to the end. Thanks for being her good friend. A fave poem for me.

Sorry to hear of the demise of a poet friend. It was from Paula's tribute to her, that I came to know of her eternal departure from this world. These days, I had no contact with her. But today when I searched her site, I saw her poem posted on the first of this month. From this I conclude, she has been active till recently. "Feared no man, spoke her mind underneath, incredibly kind". So very right.

Hello Gershon, Deb let me know that our dear sweet Pangie was called home. I was so surprised and had received a soup mail from her about two weeks ago. She was so full of life and insight which shined through ever word she wrote. I will pray for her family and thank you for your poem dedicated to her. I will miss her dearly. Pangie now stands with our Lord. Amen! Autumn Blessings, Gershon, Daniel

Gershon, thank you so very much for this moving tribute. Pangie and her courageous voice will be missed, but will always live in my memory and heart. I loved her honesty and straight forward approach with every piece she created. Pangie did not just write poems, she was a poet extraordinaire. Love and prayers for her family.

I will miss her. It is quite a surprise. She seemed young when she wrote her mind. Her words were direct and unwavering. May she be at peace.
