A Tragic Dream
The muted cries will not be heard
writhing in panic
writhing cries
muted panic
heard crying
In the end all will be abandoned
left to decay
all will decay
abandoned
in the end
A tragic dream but to awaken is to live in
a tragic dream
dreaming of tragedy
to dream of living
to awaken to dream
