A Tragedy Called Death

Invisible for all to see. Invisible for you and me. The cruel angel they call out as Death, Has greeted many with a draining breath. He held out his hand for you and me, And suddenly expected us to see . A strange and bewildering destiny. You were wrapped around a tree, And bound by metal with the weight of three. But see here I as surely puzzled, And suddenly became befuddled. It suddenly became quite clear, Why Death was obviously so near. Our time had come for what was to be our end. I ran so fast I couldn't see, a plane, or car, or bird, or bee. I ran with terror in my eyes, Hoping they were are truly lies. But then he said "We all have to die." "Even if we hope to one day survive." But soon you'll learn life is one great big lie.
