A Tiny House

Down a winding road At the very end Is a tiny house standing Near a forest pass Its a tiny house With two trees standing In front of windows They are very tall No lights seen inside The trees blocks the light This house is abandon No one lives there now

A lovely little picture poem Darlene - they say less is more and you certainly put less and the rest is left to imagining - just like looking at an a historic artefact, so to speak and getting absorbed in reflection. Hugs Maria

Darlene, there is a plaintive melancholy of abandonment in your little house at the end of the road. What an imaginative metaphor for all those who are abandoned! Heartbreaking. Wonderfully written. Thank you for this wonderfully written poem. Blessings to you.

Hello Darlene, I have imagine it a beautiful house somewhere near a mystical forest. But when you say that there is no light inside the house and that it's abandoned, this give them impression that there is no hope. I would like to hear your thoughts. Your friend Saleh

Hello Seleh, Okay here is my thoughts about the house. : the house is abandoned. No one lives there. the trees in front of the windows are over grown. That is why there is no light coming into the house. No sunshine goes into the house. so inside would be dark. My friend. enjoy your day. / Darlene/

Hello Marliene, the house is empty. No light goes into the house because threes block the windows. I will. the same for you. Hugs. /Darlene/

The imagination wonders who used to live in the teeny tine house with the too (two) tall trees. The lights are not on. Went to my sister’s shop where I worked with wood and a stencil to paint a house in the woods. The original had dark windows and door…oh no, I had to ensure someone was home! Cheers, sweet one! Enjoyed this very much!
