I was looking at some old poems. This one I wrote in 2016. Thought I would repost it!
Let us escape from the eyes of judgement
to a province where nothing is forbidden.
Where lovers are no longer hidden,
who roam freely under lustrous stars.
Oh beloved, follow the trail of silent tears,
for it will lead you to where your heart desires.
Meet me at the field where wild horses stray,
upon the meadow of unconditional infatuation.
Within the garden of fragile sensual petals,
all inhibitions will be lost in its aroma.
My heart will no longer live in a prison,
free to love the one, connected to its beat.
The greatest battle for a warrior, is not at war,
but for the one who eases the pain in his soul.
His sword yearns for blood, but his heart,
to cherish the warm breath of his lover.
The greatest crusade is the quest for companionship,
the most rewarding triumph is the one for love.
Meet me at the pastures of sweet harmony,
where for eternity; it shall be a time for us.
