A Teardrop Away
A teardrop away,
of a broken heart,
dreams crumbling
into little pieces.
Sunrays of golden
memories we shared
together of happier
days.
Saying our final farewell
tears you shed
that filled a puddle
that flowed far away.
Thinking of finer times
we had of the love
touching moments
of long ago.
Now it's over for the
two of us, but we
must remember
the short time we shared,
of the bond we had
that we thought would
last for a life time
has now ended.
