A Taste of Love
The simmering tides that flow through the rain
Looks like glitter a top the crest on this moonlit night
Your hand of warmth brings me comfort as we walk
My coat shall warm your body as the sand does our feet
Like a warm summer day digging our toes into the beach
Your eyes gleam reflecting the moon sparkling like stars
These lips that I kiss are smooth as a withered rock upon water
Your hair bends like the wind waving through the trees
I will hold you forever like the universe holds the moon
While grasping your body with a tight embrace
For if we ever part my sun would go dark leveling my soul empty
Without you my heart would stop and time would stand still
You are the will of my desire that brings a hunger into my heart
I thirst for each moment for your touch yearning for your love
I crave and covet each and every time we make love
A love everlasting I pledge to thee creating new memories
Never to be forgotten forevermore
My true and sweet love
