A Tale of a Friend
Every day when my eyes feel full,
Comes a moment lost in between,
I have every reason to lash out,
But holding me back is my friend.
She keeps fighting like a hero,
She does all by herself,
She is stubborn,
She is my best friend.
Like the rain, she brings me hope,
Like the rain, she brings me pain,
Waters drenching me all over,
Wet and cold.
But where there is rain,
There is sunshine waiting,
Rainbow comes in waves,
She brings all that with caring,
Can a woman be so bold,
Can anyone face the world head on,
People I know fail like anyone,
I know not much, her strength I do,
She believes she is all alone,
No one understands her pain,
If she would just look up,
I’m waiting for her in the rain,
Times fly by, they do much more,
If I could stop time, I’ll do it for her,
If she wants lonetime, I’ll wrench it for her,
If she craves happiness, I burn the world!
Nowadays I feel happy,
Looking back my memories,
Soon all will be gone,
But remain standing my best friend.
