A Sunlight Girl

A sunlight girl with sunny smile years ago in my life, shining bright like Sunrays trapping my chlorophyll days! In and out day and night of my heart's secret room, all those days sunny Sundays Christmas nights no darkness! Remembering her sunlit face in this wet rainbow noon, after a fresh damsel rain walking down memory lane! Sunlight girl where are you? I need now smiling face, give me back bright Sunrays bring back my chlorophyll days! © kashinath karmakar ============== By:kashinath karmakar (13th April 2011)

Kash, hope you are ok. just noticing I have not seen you around much lately. I think I have had my fill of poetry for the day. Time to do all my Xmas stuff. Oh, I saw you are number 8 for most contest wins. that is really a BIG achievment for someone who has been here in as short a time as you have. Luv, Andrea

remember this cute poem of yours? I keep hanging around here hoping for the NUMBERS to change on the contests. I am kind of superstitious and I don't want to be person number four to enter my tree poem. I can't believe only three people so far have done the contest. If one more person would just post, I could hurry and be the fifth. Believe it or not, I usually do better in contests when I enter as first, fifth or seventh!!

KASH, I guess I did NOT see this one yet because it is new for me. I really like your free verse style, the way you made the lines short like phrases. It makes it very readable. It's a lovely memory of this sunlight girl that you have penned. Way to do the contest!
