The last lonely leaf dancing on zephyr breeze
on skeletal trees
Bare branches remind me of ghoulish fingers,
just one leaf lingers
Colourful crisp leaves twirl down onto damp ground,
they’ll soon be earthbound
On autumn days like these
it’s just me who sees
the last lonely leaf dancing on zephyr breeze
