A Snarly Response To a Stupid Request

My timely explanation is coming soon
Don’t hold your breath, I beg you please,
As soon as the cow jumps over the moon
I’ll write you a note, hoping to appease.

I do not have the info right now at hand
I am too busy to do the needed research,
Besides, I already have my day planned,
And your stupid request puts me in a lurch.

Consider Google, Wikipedia, or another
A wealth of information at your fingertips,
If all else fails, you could ask your brother
Or go to tik-tok and stare at the newsclips.

You know, I hate to be so blunt with you,
But just how important is this information?
Your request has come to me out of the blue
And, frankly, to you I have no obligation.

So, a timely explanation is coming soon

It feels as though someone is taking advantage or they are too lazy to do it themselves imposing themselves on someone's good character, because they know they can take advantage. When I first read it I sense you were angry at the request for the reasons I stated. what ever the case I can sympathize with you on this one because I have experienced, what you wrote, ironically. I have no idea where the roots of this poem lay. It was just one of those fun writes that came to me.
