A Small Conversation
“You are not aware of the depths of your own soul.”
“How can one know if one feels it fully or partially?”
“One cannot know.”
“I am confused and I am suffering.”
“Yes.”
“Though I am also grateful and full of quiet joy.”
“Your depths grow ever deeper.”
“I do not particularly like this feeling.”
“Then adjust your feeling.”
“I do not want to.”
“Then adjust your setting.”
“But I like it here.”
“You want love to be easy, don’t you?”
“Easier.”
“Channeled through and back from everything and you.”
“Yes.”
“Your soul moves into the haze of other souls.”
“So we must fight through the haze.”
“And we must now get back.”
The two babies
Staggered to their feet
Their chubby calves
Wobbling as they adjusted their
Pointy blue hats
Adorned with the cosmos
And walked, in clunky steps,
back to the Grand Wizard Festivus.
