A Silly Parody

To carpet or not to carpet That is the question For ‘tis nobler to be a minimalist Than to have thy name on a fashion list On cold winter mornings, I say, carpet! In summer thy feet will be fine The choice, oh, choice of choices is mine ~~ To cover my beautiful hardwood floors Or tile my walls like fashionable Moors Oh, happier I would be if the decision were thine. I hate decisions! Those who know me well will tell you it takes me months to decide for sure what I am going to do about anything. I'm still deciding whether or not to paint my kitchen cabinets. The floors will stay as they are!

Wow, this is good information to know. My best friend has severe allegies, so he might not be able to visit if I carpeted. I do love my hardwood floors, so it isn't likely.

Much ado about carpets lol. I love hardwood floors, they look so natural and more practical if you have a pet. Cant compete with Jenna's comment. Tom

She's something else, isn't she? Love that Jenna. My living room is hardwood; my bedroom and den carpeted. I do love the look of hardwood, but it can be cold on winter mornings!

I hail thee to stop for a moment, fair friend. Perchance you may consider a slice of advice. Thy noble forest hath given you a gift of her treasured wood. To cover them with fibers twould be an insult to their benevolence. Hark! Give thought to what particles of dank and muss will perpetually lie buried in floor covering. I pray you choose wisely. Young bard, I suggest you invest in woolen hose for those winter morns to keep your toes warm.
