A Silent Prayer

A Silent Prayer I always pray to contend any hindrance, not to flee. I wish to stay sturdy not to bend in dismay. When forgiveness is mere a weakness, I will suppress my compassion but act ruthless in action. If competent, I pray to win with my inherent strength, putting dedication, devotion, diligence, demanding right recognition. ‘Save me from danger’ is not my prayer, but I pray to my soul to show light to act precise.. I pray to proceed with courage and vigor holding my head erect. My earnest prayer silently murmurs in mind: I must not be deceived: ‘My love and work should get honored.’ 03/04/19 Third Place 'STRAND SELECT J' Contest by Brian Strand.
