A Silent Asylum
The restless soul, a ship upon the sea,
Where waves of doubt and worry crash and roar,
Seeks harbor calm, a place where it can be,
Released from burdens it can bear no more.
Through tangled thoughts, a labyrinthine maze,
It yearns for silence where true solace lies,
To find within a gentle healing phase,
And see the truth reflected in its eyes.
The world's distractions, clamoring and loud,
Attempt to steal the stillness it desires,
But deep within a quiet sacred shroud,
A sanctuary where the spirit fires.
Though storms may rage and shadows may descend,
The peace within a journey without end.
