A Safe Resting Place
Often, I find my sweet solitude in a holy place,
a sacred church- this safe haven and refuge I embrace.
And sometimes it is in nature I find a temple like escape,
the seclusion falling on my soul like a warm green cape.
In my dreams- I can build a fortress and secret hideaway,
a sanctuary for one where I can peacefully stay.
Yet, in real life I can just create my own safe harbor,
perhaps, a shady resting place beyond a rose arbor.
