A Sad Christmas
A SAD CHRISTMAS
What a sad Christmas it would be
Had Christ the Savior had not been born
There would be no such thing as Christmas
And it would be oh so forlorn
Christmas derived its name from the Christchild
Born more than 2,000 years ago
To save the world from sin and shame
His birth is what made Christmas so
Imagine if there were no Christmas
What then would we celebrate
No reason to feel merry
No gifts to anticipate
For any who don't believe in Christmas
That too is extremely sad
It means that don't believe in Christ
And eternity for them will be bad
I'm pleased to know that Christ was born
And for every Christmas I've had
So I will celebrate with joy
And my Christmas will not be sad
