A Sad Christmas

A SAD CHRISTMAS What a sad Christmas it would be Had Christ the Savior had not been born There would be no such thing as Christmas And it would be oh so forlorn Christmas derived its name from the Christchild Born more than 2,000 years ago To save the world from sin and shame His birth is what made Christmas so Imagine if there were no Christmas What then would we celebrate No reason to feel merry No gifts to anticipate For any who don't believe in Christmas That too is extremely sad It means that don't believe in Christ And eternity for them will be bad I'm pleased to know that Christ was born And for every Christmas I've had So I will celebrate with joy And my Christmas will not be sad 3 December 2018 For the Sad Christmas contest sponsosred by Dear Heart

My Dear Constance, if others in the world had a kind heart like you,it would be a better world. You are the epitome of caring, compassion, and concern for the feelings of others and it shines as bright as you say my faith shines. You are a sort of 'hero' to so many Soupers. Thank you! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Well written Curtis, its sad that many still don't accept him. There is much evil in our world. Good luck. Tom.

You're absolutely right, Tom. There is much evil in our world today. We just suffered 8 years of it. My prayer is that we will rise above it and America will remember the foundation on which it was built. Thank you for you encouragement and friendship. Merry Christmas!
