A Reverie
Floating down reveries
easing a mind troubled,
guarding hope like gold;
long tales of love told,
with you right next to me…
where you belong.
Reveries flow in the breeze,
fated to whisper secrets
into the willow trees-
nourished by nutrients
of kind carresses,
ruffled by sated dreams;
and through it all I smiled,
with you right next to me…
where you belong.
Saturated in loneliness
was I before ebon became
white-
you freed me from links
of rust worn around my
ankles,
allowed my eyes to have
the marvel of sight;
even in the Winter freeze
I see what no one sees,
purity of God’s reveries-
with me right next to you…
right where I belong.
