A Reflection of Him

"a reflection of him"

tell me mirror
can it be
a reflection of him
is what I see

does his love channel...
do the eyes that sparkle shift...
is he inside me and I inside him...

people say
what is that look
who is on your mind

I say
the look of love holds me captive
his essence consumes me

forced am I to see
up close and personal 
the image that you see of me
is a reflection of him

That is so profound Lisa, when partners or lovers are in sync. And so it should be. I used to love the cartoonist - I think Kim from memory - in the Love is Series and used to paint them. A big 7 for bringing back creative and fun memories.

Love does produce a look or a glow that can be seen everywhere we go. It may be hidden to us but others recognize it immediately. Your poem is beautiful and it does create a different facial expression in me, it brings a huge smile to my face. I think I am glowing now. :) Very nicely done my friend.

Good Morning Anne-Marie. You would laugh if you knew where this came from. Remember years back the comic strip "Love Is". One day I came across this one with the girl standing in front of the mirror and in the mirror was her man looking back. Go figure... However, let me say I love and enjoy your intake.
