A Quiet Place
My buoyant mind,
muffled by maddening cacophony,
seeks transcendent tranquility
to resonate with the sound of silence.
I find a mystique quiet place,
far from frenzy in the wondrous woods,
on green carpet the ancient trees stand,
wrapped by sun-soaked wispy mist.
On the couch of carved-out tree-trunk,
I recline on nature’s arms,
fly on the wings of reverie
in the seamless sky of serenity.
