A Pulse In Thoughts
it's always the corrosion
of time within mind
where memories taunt
the depths of love
i feel your presence
within the allure of night
as dimness grows
beneath the fullness
of thoughts
that rise like the moon
the signature
of your lips
pressed against
the seal of mine
as i linger
confused
beneath the kiss of fate
i lie cuddled
in the warmth
of dreams
that comfort
my subconscious
where the rise and fall
of my breath
becomes one
with yours again
i attach myself
in the depths of feelings
as they thrust forward
through motionless years
i'm surprised to find
that your scent
still lingers amidst
breathless sighs
i contort my body
in the spoon of shadows
as i hopelessly await
the stars to align
in another realm
another time
