A Poet's Thoughts On Love and Death

A Poet's Thoughts On Love And Death Love unknown or love lost, which is the worst, each has power to make yearning heart burst? Life first seeks love, from its very first breath may beg for it or curse it on its death! Even deepest love can not stop soul's end tho' imagination oft says pretend. Its power is for life and those living lovers true of heart, prone to forgiving. Some say, love reaches back from other realms to heal broken hearts that death overwhelms. While critics declare such can not be true death's finality love can not undue! Poets may debate such sad, unfair judgments with words coming from biased testaments. Robert J. Lindley, 9-15-2017 Sonnet,( Can Love Conquer Even Death)

My favorite line... biased testaments. It seems very close to what is going on in our crazy government today. People judging people that are trying for the very job they are judging for or against. Scales set wrong from the start. It is nuts. This was extremely well written. I like the style, and the way it is laid out. The tone is Shakespearian like. That is great. Ann
