A Poet's Dream

Were you ever told as a child to keep quiet? I mean when trying to express yourself, not doing anything wild. How odd it is, that the voice is still there, at least for me! It shouts and screams at me, when I express myself controversionally! "Don't do that! Write something meaningless, it's so easy!" Writing to please, makes me unhappy and queasy. To be blunt, I want to tell it to shut up and let me, be me. Stop trying to please the crowd, poetically! All I desire, is to be me, one hundred percent, forever, genuinely.
