A Poet Is a Friend For When You Are At Your Wit's End
A poet's embrace would be most sincere,
For they overcame all of which they fear
Through forging the meaning behind every spilled tear.
A poet's feelings are most sincere,
When they conjure letters you shall never hear,
For they will never be sent, at least just not yet.
A poet finds meaning in even just a little bit of everything.
So rest assured whatever they write,
Surely it is something so special, meant only for you,
For you're the one on their mind while writing feelings so true.
